PANEL DISCUSSIONS AND ACTIVITIES

-The ins and outs of cricket farming, the paths to modern scaling to for worldwide production, and why we desperately need to grow the domestic supply for the future.

-The idea that entomophagy is sustainable and the future of food is a wonderful and positive idea; however, it is often aligned with a dystopian point of view, where the world will be overpopulated, the earth’s resources depleted, and that eating insects can help save the world.  How do we give a more positive view without the doom and gloom?

-The question is simple:  should insects be introduced to first timers in its entirety or hidden?

-The Sting:  members of the audience will be selected to answer a series of entertaining quick-fire questions

-The Buzz:  3 minute segments during the event where everyone will be prompted with a question to talk with the person next to them.  ie “When was the first time you ever ate a bug?”
